Chicago Cubs – Wrigley Field

Wrigley Field, located in Chicago’s Lakeview neighborhood, is the historic home of the Chicago Cubs and one of Major League Baseball’s most recognizable ballparks. Opened in 1914, the Friendly Confines welcome guests for Cubs games, concerts, tours and other special events throughout the year.

The ballpark combines its historic character, including the iconic red marquee, ivy-covered outfield walls and hand-operated scoreboard, with modern amenities designed to support a welcoming and inclusive guest experience. Visitors can experience the venue during a game or event, take a guided tour, or spend time in the surrounding Wrigleyville neighborhood and Gallagher Way.

Wrigley Field is accessible by public transportation and is surrounded by restaurants, shops and gathering spaces. Event experiences vary depending on the type of event and location within the ballpark, so guests are encouraged to review event-specific information and accessibility resources before arriving.

Wrigley Field is the first Major League Baseball ballpark to be designated a Certified Autism Center™ by the International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards. The designation reflects the venue’s ongoing commitment to creating a more welcoming and accessible experience for autistic and sensory-sensitive guests attending Cubs games, concerts, tours and other events.

For autistic and sensory-sensitive guests, Wrigley Field offers a sensory room where guests can take a break from the ballpark environment. Sensory bags are also available through Fan Services. The Wrigley Field sensory guide provides information about sensory experiences throughout the property so guests can better understand what to expect and plan their visit based on their individual needs.
