Come see the Real Thing at Space Center Houston Texas, a nonprofit science and space exploration learning center and the Official Visitor Center of NASA Johnson Space Center in TX.

The center offers more than 400 things to see and do and strives to be accepting and accessible to guests with autism spectrum disorder and other cognitive challenges. Sensory Friendly Evenings feature reduced lights, sounds and crowds. Space Center University for the visually impaired and other events are designed to provide quality learning experiences for guests with special needs. Guests can check out sensory friendly backpacks, which have sound-cancelling headphones, sunglasses, a fun space book and other sensory items.
