High Point, North Carolina, is centrally located in the state and nestled between Winston-Salem and Greensboro. Known as the “Home Furnishings Capital of the World! ™” the city boasts more than 100 furniture stores and outlets in the High Point area. While furniture is a major draw for out-of-town visitors, it’s not the only game in town. High Point offers a variety of attractions, restaurants and venues who are Certified Autism Centers.  The downtown is growing with shops, restaurants and Truist Point Stadium, home to the High Point Rockers baseball team and the Carolina Core FC, a MLS NextPro soccer team set to kick off their first season in 2024.  Just blocks from the downtown area are family-friendly attractions including North Carolina’s 2022 Attraction of the Year, the Nido & Mariana Qubein Children’s Museum, packed with two levels of exhibits and a double decker carousel, and Q’s Corner, an Indoor Play Gym, offering a judgment-free zone for children and parents of all ability levels. The Regional Visitors Center, also a Certified Autism Center™, is a great starting point whether you’re in the planning stages or already in the area.
