Topland and IBCCES Join Forces to Improve Accessibility Offerings for People of Determination

The International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES) and Topland partner to increase inclusivity measures and enhance accessibility options for all people of determination. This partnership seeks to expand offerings for autistic and sensory-sensitive individuals and all people of determination by enhancing their access to resources and support. Both organizations offer products and services that promote increased awareness, inclusivity, and accessibility for people of determination. This collaboration will enhance the reach of IBCCES and Topland’s networks to increase acceptance and broaden access to such resources.

Andy Faulkner, CEO of Topland, said “We are excited to enter into this strategic partnership with IBCCES – globally recognized cognitive disorder training and certification organization, as it will allow us to offer additional services to our customers in the Middle East.” He also added, “This partnership will be transformative for the industry and will pave the way for creating more inclusive and accessible environments.”

Topland, the leading supplier of assistive products and services for people of determination, was established with the purpose of helping organizations and communities become fully accessible by creating environments where all people feel included and welcomed. From state-of-the-art mobility aids that redefine accessibility to sensory-friendly technologies that create inclusive environments, Topland’s offerings are a testament to the company’s unwavering dedication to improving the quality of life for all people of determination and setting new standards for accessibility and support.

“This partnership is invaluable to both Topland and IBCCES, as it will help us expand our reach and strengthen our offerings and services,” says Myron Pincomb, IBCCES board chairman. “We recognize the value and importance of creating welcoming and inclusive environments for all people. This collaboration is an opportunity to expand our efforts of increasing accessibility for autistic and sensory-sensitive individuals and all people of determination.”

IBCCES has been the leader in cognitive disorder training and certification for healthcare, education, and corporate professionals around the globe for more than 20 years. More families and individuals are seeking out travel, entertainment and recreational options that have completed a certification program through an accredited source. IBCCES is the only global credentialing board providing travel and entertainment organizations with training and certification from subject-matter experts and autistic self-advocates, and other resources, as well as long-term support that helps them understand how to better accommodate and assist autistic or sensory-sensitive visitors and their families.

IBCCES also created AutismTravel.com, a free online resource for families that lists certified destinations and connects families to other resources and each other. Each destination listed on the site has met the Certified Autism Center™ (CAC) requirements.
